This is a high visibility role where you will drive the vision and charter of the Audio Test Automation team! Your team will build fixtures to automate tests and share results. They will be responsible for ensuring that the different functional parts of the system are tested in an automated fashion. They'll build, write and run tests and collect meaningful critical metrics to drive program quality. You will be involved in understanding solutions your team provides and design a strategy for scale. This includes data collection and visualization.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in an Engineering field
- Leadership experience with building automated teams / solutions
- Knowledge of scripting skills (Python preferred) to provide guidance to the team.
- Familiarity with hardware and software interaction for embedded systems
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of software development/testing experience with embedded systems.
- 2+ years of management experience
- Strong advocate for quality, with good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices.
- Strong communication skills
- Self directed, analytical and work well in a large cross-functional environment
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
