The Video Operations team focuses on creating the premiere video experience for all content types, with impact throughout the industry, for a worldwide digital audience. The Video Operations group, part of Apple Services Operations, is seeking an Asset Operations Specialist (Distribution) for Asset distribution, servicing and tracking for Apple branded original content. Responsibilities include working with internal and external partners, facilitating ingestion of all video, audio, and ancillary assets, defining expectations, managing exceptions, troubleshooting rejections and platform functionality with the number one goal of on time and accurate delivery and representation of our branded content. Description
Oversee the day to day scheduling, tracking, and verification of distribution orders Work alongside the Mastering & Localization Operations teams, supporting and executing ordering deliverables assets (video/audio/timed text) for internal stakeholders and 3rd party clients/vendors Monitor all milestone and delivery due dates, update schedules, issue alerts if schedules are falling behind, and report status throughout final delivery to AMP Video Operations and other stakeholders Assist in tracking the creation of servicing elements for internal use, sales screeners for ad-sales, VAM and fingerprinting files for content security Ensure all title/Series information and metadata is available in inventory & tracking systems Create purchases orders for distribution services, reconcile invoices for final approval and payment Demonstrate working knowledge of digital archival principle, collection management, migration and preservation Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
- 3+ years experience in Asset Distribution Operations at a studio, television network, or high level mastering facility
- You have a strong, working understanding of Asset Management standards and practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of episodic and movie distribution servicing workflows
- Knowledgeable of Audio/Video containers, codecs, and file formats
- Strong, working understanding of domestic and localized international versioning (multiple languages, version control)
- Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware (macOS, iOS, Apple Music, App Store, Books, Podcasts, Apple tv+, Vision Pro, etc.)
- Collaborative, organized and a team player
- Work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects
- Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic environment
- Strong presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization
- Must have the ability to make decision independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to see the big picture
- A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work in a changing and evolving environment
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
