Description

The leader of this team will be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams and all of Service Engineering on program deliverables, schedules, and priorities to deliver all Service Manufacturing Processes. Determines engineering project goals. Makes project priority decisions with considerations for timeline, cost and resources. Owns the overall project timeline for all AppleCare engineering teams Drives and coordinates engineering teams to the overall schedule and ensures accurate hand off and coordination to our partners. The primary DRI to ensure all work has allocated resources with clearly understood deliverables and timelines. Responsible for highlighting to management when there are schedule, resource, cost or alignment challenges. Applies internal tools for project consolidation executive summaries using the individual team updates to build a summary for projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to mentor and develop a team, lead with excellence, and maintain a dedication towards meeting the business needs.
  • Outstanding program/project manager with impeccable organizational skills and attention to details, with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management tools, schedule development/management, and leadership experience.
  • You possess strong technical intuition and understanding of basic engineering concepts with ability to grasp complex design and process problems
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and relate to a myriad of technical partners.
  • Highly effective communicator, using both in spoken and written forms; sharp interpersonal skills who understand how to communicate across varied audiences in a climate of debate.
  • Sound executive presence with the strong ability to communicate at the senior leadership levels.
  • Management experience leading high-functioning, professional teams with at least 5 years of experience.
  • HW EPM experience, launching products, and driving new product development cycles.
  • B.S. in Engineering or Technical degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience working with a globally distributed team
  • M.S. or PhD in Engineering or Technical degree with 7+ years of experience in a related field or industry.
  • Experience in international and/or regional Product Safety, Environmental, EMC, and Regulatory standards/regulations, and/or government affairs are a big plus.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,400 and $301,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
