We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated manager for either the Supply Demand Execution (SDE) or Supply Demand Management (SDM) team. As a member of the SDE/SDM team, you will join a highly influential group within Apple, challenged to scale at the pace of the company's overall growth. As a leader on this team you will play a critical role in ensuring operational and financial success for the organization. You will develop and lead a team in an organization that creates, communicates and executes plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. Placement will be made at the time of hire in any of Apple's product line offerings across Mac, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, Vision Pro and Accessories.

Description

Ensure we meet commitments to customers through analysis, reporting, and collaboration with key DRIs. Build and develop your team to be collaborative, drive improvements, and present to senior leadership on improved efficiency and reduction of manual effort. Support internal partner requests and escalations and develop guidelines to improve these processes. Generate weekly and quarterly plans that meet Apple's financial objectives. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate. Work within various enterprise systems to ensure flawless planning and execution of customer demand across all sales channels. Collaborate with global partners on best practices, enterprise tool development and key process improvement. Manage staffing and onboarding activities to support our overall team vision and key peak periods. Mentor and guide team members to ensure that they can realize their full potential within Apple. Drive strategic solutions and influence leaders on ideal approach to complex problems. Less than 10% required travel.
  • 3+ year's experience leading execution in the areas of operations, supply chain, finance, procurement, consulting
  • High degree of analytics and ability to summarize and drive solutions based on data and logic
  • Recruit, Retain, Mentor development of Individual Contributors as direct reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and collaboration abilities
  • Demonstrated ability in continuous innovation with an acute attention to detail
  • Excellent forward thinking capabilities, able to see beyond the current state, proactively identifying risks/opportunities
  • Proven experience working optimally in a matrixed and global organization
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field required. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Own and manage procurement, execution, supply/demand forecast, and movement of product valued in $B's across all hardware product lines servicing all sales channels (Retail, E-commerce, Reseller, Education) for multiple countries/geographies.
  • Develop complex statistical/forecast models (utilizing price elasticity, execution option, seasonality, cannibalization, etc.) to drive critical business decisions and insights.
  • Present, defend, and influence product line business plans to senior executive leadership both internal/external to Apple and cross-functional stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Influence and triangulate cross-functional alignment within a matrixed organization
  • Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events.
  • Manage Collaboration, Planning, Execution, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) with multiple Fortune 100 channel partners, strengthening business relationships with our customers.
  • Drive, influence, and develop long-term strategic initiatives that shape the future of Apple's supply chain and omnichannel roadmap.
  • Plan, drive, and execute New Product Introduction operational activities, ensuring world-class customer experience across all of Apple's routes to market.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities (tools, workstreams, systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation.
  • Responsible for supply allocation, execution and distribution of hundreds of millions of units between channels and reseller partners to maximize financial results and customer experience.
  • Influence and manage operations across 50 global OEMs lifting out of 10+ origin locations.
  • Drive innovation opportunities within our supply chain aimed towards achieving Apple's Sustainability and eco-friendly goals of Carbon Neutrality throughout our supply chain by 2030.
