We are looking for a business leader with a record of successful influence, collaboration and execution to lead our Product Localization team. You should have strong team leadership skills and experience, with a solid background in product configuration, supply chain, and project management. Key areas of expertise for this role are Bills of Materials (BOMs), regulatory compliance and Product Lifecycle Management systems. You will lead a team in the successful execution of all localized requirements for Latin America and influence and execute in an environment of ambiguity. Together with the Global PLM Team, this Manager will be responsible for understanding Operations business needs, making strategic recommendations to enhance organization performance, bringing our strategy to life, and enabling ongoing efficiency and quality improvements possible.

Description

The America's Ops PLM Manager should be a driven, flexible, and articulate problem solver who can multi-task under dynamic timelines to meet product launch objectives, delivering timely solutions for custom requirements across a broad range of capabilities and customized offerings. You will be responsible for leading a team of direct reports in running a portfolio of localized product configuration Bills of Material for AMR & for driving cross-functional resources to meet deadlines. In addition to the successful tactical execution of these BOMs, ongoing compliance projects will be handled to ensure adherence to all requirements to ship product into Latin America. Collaboration with multiple groups incl: AMR Engineering Compliance Managers, NPI Launch program managers, Corporate Compliance, Trade Compliance, WW Product Marketing, WW Product Configuration, Hardware Legal, Region Legal, Engineering, Localization & Release Engineering and others will be critical to build and deliver solutions to meet the needs of evolving business opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field required. MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oversee functional capability portfolio ($5M+)
  • Recruit, Retain, Mentor development of Individual Contributors as direct reports. Team size: 5-8.
  • Drive large scale, multi-year, multi-$M capital project roadmap to improve long-term capabilities & scale business processes.
  • Present, defend, + influence supply chain capability & technology roadmap to Apple's senior executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-organizational teams to roll out new products, systems, and solutions to market while ensuring complete confidentiality, driving organizational, systems, and people readiness.
  • Develop time dependency models for key milestones, building contingency plans and knowing when to recommend changes and/or when to escalate. Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities (tools, workstreams, systems) and drive solutions from conception through implementation. Support continuous innovation within the team, advocating directs to use subject matter expertise to drive positive change management.
  • Stitch across a global cross-functional teams throughout the supply chain, both technical and functional, adjusting communication and messaging for intended audience/stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate and explain complex business plans/processes, systems, and/or tools with a focus on the upstream/downstream impact and relationship between multiple functions and/or decisions.
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gain perspective on scalability, risk, and unique regional differences; drive best practices globally and strengthen harmony among integrations.
  • Own new product/systems/tool launch plans, providing updates on critical checkpoints and elevating risks to business partners and executive team.
  • Ensure customer and internal confidential data is protected throughout our supply chain.
