Description
Genuine passion for innovation and product development with experience from inception through delivery to customers. You will work very closely with the architecture team, the human experience team, firmware and software teams, and electrical and mechanical engineering teams to define and create sensing experiences for a number of future products. Specifically, during the concept design of a product, the candidate will be responsible to drive and create requirements, identify the best HW solutions available and design the SW algorithms. The individual will be also responsible for the overall sensor integration and tuning in the product and ensuring the highest quality execution.

Minimum Qualifications
- M.S. in EE, CE, CS, or equivalent experience or skills.
- Algorithm design for classification, noise modeling/filtering, signal processing, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Experience with data analysis, visualization of complex data in Python and/or MATLAB and presenting resulting conclusions.
- Implementation into embedded or resource constrained systems in C/C++ in production environments.
- Able to learn how to quantify and test new sensing technologies such as IMU, capacitive, environmental, light, motion, radar, optical, acoustic, and evaluate user impact and performance.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally for development and on-site manufacturing support is also expected.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
