Description

Drive programs and/or projects that support Siri Platforms including driving feature definition, system architecture, timelines, milestones, risk management, and program execution. This includes collaborating with multiple partner organizations relevant to the project. Communication is critical. Provide clear, timely, concise and objective communication, including regular program status updates, critical issues and mitigations, changes in plans, risks, and asks as needed. Drive (as needed) discussions and break down complex issues into manageable chunks in order to drive engineering, design, and other teams to alignment while maintaining great teamwork and collaboration. Own the program end-to-end - from inception to delivery. Create and manage project timelines and milestones with clear dependencies, critical path and deliverables with a communication strategy. Manage risks, mitigations, and re-plan as needed. Drive on time delivery and deployment with necessary checkpoints and status updates. As a part of execution, also identify issues and drive towards solutions with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management leading cross-functional data and software engineering teams delivering consumer facing technology products. The ideal candidate will have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (10+) to execute.
  • Excellent project management skills including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently, with strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution, management and influence.
  • Solid knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs as well as thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation with the ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations and communication strategies. The candidate should be able to communicate abstract ideas clearly, and independently manage complex project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in project or program management
  • Experience shipping ML powered end user products
  • Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (20+) to execute
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching and team-building
  • Superior group facilitation and interviewing
  • Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
