Siri Runtime Platform provides a horizontal platform across all device platforms (iOS/macOS/watchOS/visionOS) to manage the life cycle of user's conversation with Siri. The platform facilitates the orchestration of Siri requests by integrating with several components like UI, ASR, LLM Planner etc.
Description
Siri's Runtime Platform team is looking for a resourceful software engineer to develop Siri's next generation of natural interaction platforms on Apple's innovative devices! You should be eager to do hands-on work to improve and build features to help improve overall Siri capabilities. You should enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment with changing priorities, be passionate about using new technologies to solve real problems and to improve the state of intelligent assistants. This role requires someone with deep expertise in developing, launching, maintaining, and extending products. A hire for this role will accelerate the team through helping to develop standard methodologies, creating strong architecture/design, developing software with velocity, and substantial individual technical contributions. The role requires a strong ownership mindset to collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve dependencies. The candidate will triage issues resulting from internal live-on population, analyze logs, reproduce bugs and help determine priority of problems, while identifying emerging trends across the reported issues.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong expertise in one programing language
- 2-3 years of experience software development - contributed to code, code reviews, design reviews, and maintain production systems.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with excellent expertise in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Objective-c or Swift.
- Expertise in design patterns.
- Have contributed to shipping platform/products to production, and supported/extended them post launch.
- Have driven technical decision-making and software development from product definition to ship for multiple shipped products.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
