We are seeking an experienced engineer to design, set up and maintain machine learning and code development infrastructure for a team engaged in groundbreaking ML robotics research.

Description

In collaboration with researchers and software developers, the incumbent will design, implement and maintain: Python and C++ code build and development machinery. Machine learning data collection, and storage, indexing and retrieval. Cloud execution pipelines for variety ML workloads. Methodologies to deploy to physical robots.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of experience with devops work, and ML data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the bazel build system
  • Knowledge of Python and C++, particularly with respect to build and deployment.
  • Familiarity with robotics and associated middleware.
  • Some familiarity with the data and infrastructural needs of modern ML algorithms.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
