Description

- Design, implement, and optimize core algorithms for multi-object tracking and identity recognition using Swift. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including computer vision, audio processing, and computational geometry experts, to integrate and fine-tune models and algorithms. - Perform thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the algorithms. - Continuously improve the performance and scalability of the underlying core system. - Be able to contribute in state estimation, filtering, computer vision, audio processing, computational geometry, and data association techniques.

  • 5 years of production programming in a language like C/C++/Swift.
  • Excellent software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems. Proficient understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience with computer vision and state estimation algorithms is required.
  • M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, or related areas and 5 years of relevant industry experience OR Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or related areas and 7 years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data processing under a secure computing environment to protect privacy sensitive data is a plus.
  • Track record of technical leadership and/or project ownership.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
