Description
As a frontend/UI engineer in the AIML Special Projects group, you will have an opportunity to be part of an innovation-focused organization within Apple that is exploring integrations between robotics and AIML. You will be able to work on highly ambitious, high-reward, and impactful UI projects for visualizing simulation tools in the early stages of development. This team has a strong focus on shipping AIML-based features and products. Our ideal team member is fearless when it comes to trying new things and is willing to iterate on ideas. We value team members who can quickly prototype, iterating all the way to high-quality implementations. Moreover, we value team members who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with 3D Graphics on Web (WebGL, Three.js, related frameworks)
- Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, macOS fundamentals and frameworks Strong grasp of Apple development tools
- 5+ years professional experience building responsive, user-friendly UI applications
- Proficient understanding of frontend development technologies including HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
- Significant experience with JavaScript frameworks and client-side state management using React.js / Redux
- Sharp eye for design, user experience, and detail
- Strong experience using best practices for working with REST APIs
- You're inspired to design, create and make the best better and do that quickly
- Strong communication skills and good team player
- Understanding of real-time systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing secure web applications and knowledge of application vulnerabilities such as Cross Site Scripting (XSS), Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) etc.
- Experience with multi-threading in Swift
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Ability to analyze large features and implement practical solutions
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
