As an Office Furniture Drafting Supervisor your responsibilities include managing direct reports and their workloads, meeting with requesters to provide for up to 25- offices/cubicles/benching workstations. Maintains records of furniture requests which includes existing & proposed layouts, maintenance and telecom requests. Provides detailed work packets to the OFS Installation Supervisor and Coordinator.

Description

The Drafting Services Supervisor will be responsible for key deliverables and oversight of our Drafting team. This role will also have responsibilities and accountability for: Update furniture part numbers and descriptions using common nomenclature. Identify, review, and validate all furniture standards for all buildings in SCV / Bay Area. Coordinate with our Furniture Project Management Team on all new furniture reconfigurations. Provide technical support to our Installation and Warehouse teams as needed. Successful partnering with our Facilities Building Managers and BU's. Create and update furniture product "pull sheets" with part numbers and descriptions. Provide direction to vendors as needed to ensure Apple's policies and procedures are followed. Oversee and lead a team of subject matter experts Ensure that the team has the training and equipment needed to perform there tasks
  • 5+ years' experience with modular furniture with an emphasis on providing the best possible service in a demanding environment.
  • Some college, technical training or equivalent work experience
  • Expert knowledge of various modular furniture systems, Auto CAD proficient.

  • The ability to communicate effectively and provide clear and accurate direction.
  • Manages time efficiently with demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must work well under pressure in a demanding environment.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $40.25 and $60.95/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
