This role will be instrumental in crafting and managing comprehensive documentation deliverables for Apple's retail stores, channel environments and corporate events including product displays, visual merchandising fixtures, and specialty installations. The documentation manager provides strategic direction and creative thinking, oversees high-impact projects, and ensures the seamless integration of documentation processes.

Description

The 3D Production, Documentation Manager crafts development documentation process including: project planning, budgets, estimates, timelines, agency engagement/management, engineering drawing reviews, production reviews, and presentations. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Project Management: Lead multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing reviews, budget management, timeline adherence, and status updates. Execute against project strategy and negotiate project shifts with flexible, innovative and strategic approach. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge positive relationships with Design Project Management, Creative, Producers, Operations, Finance, Corporate Procurement, Legal, and Production teams. Act as a key liaison with internal and external partners, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project objectives, and successful project outcomes. - Vendor and Supplier Management: Engage with our suppliers and agencies, leading development, production reviews, negotiating terms, installation logistics, maintaining relationships to ensure alignment with strategic goals. - Problem-Solving: Drive innovative approaches to 3DVM documentation deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing challenges with creative, strategic thinking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 of experience in events, exhibition and/or retail fixture development and production.
  • Experience in strategic project management within, but not limited to, a design agency, architecture firm, or in-house studio.
  • Production documentation experience, with a focus on data analytics & visualization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Deep familiarity with a wide variety of production methods, architectural and engineering drawings, along with sophisticated knowledge of project management tools, fixture development standards and construction practices.
  • Project Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams, handle cross-functional collaboration, and drive project success.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain influential relationships with collaborators at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for quality and technical details.
  • Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative solutions and optimize processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Strategic Vision: Experience leading strategic initiatives and managing high-impact projects with complex physical 3D deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
