6-month internship, FullStack developer

As a student, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on a variety of impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate ANSYS products. You will support our Solver and Platform teams to develop the next generation simulation platform for the democratization and re-use of Ansys technologies.
Specifically in this internship, you will be working in the area of Cloud. You will maintaining and updating our Angular application with a Python backend. Also, you will be working on deployment automation and the scope can be extended to include cloud observability / alerting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update an Angular application.
- Work on a Python backend using Flask.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
- Implement and manage APIs.
- Utilize Docker for containerization.
- Work with both Linux and Windows environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing processes.
- Use GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Gain familiarity with observability tools and practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Angular and Python (Flask).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with APIs, Docker, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with observability tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
