Role Summary
Come join a fast-paced software development team, delivering the next generation of high-tech, modeling and simulation software. AGI, an Ansys company, is seeking an experienced, top-performing developer to help design and develop the core platform capabilities of our flagship STK product. AGI develops commercial-off-the-shelf mission modeling software for the aerospace & defense industries. Our products can be used from concept design through operations, and have been used on over 100 space missions, including NASA's DART asteroid impact mission.

In this role, a successful developer will use technical and problem-solving skills to help the team tackle complex issues, satisfy customer requirements, and accomplish development objectives.
This is a hybrid role based in Exton, PA. The hired individual must be willing and able to commute to our Exton, PA office a minimum of 3 times per week.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform basic development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of software modules and sub-systems
- Learn and employ best practices
- Perform basic bug verification, release testing, and support for assigned products.
- Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions
- Work under the close supervision of a development manager
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with C++, C#, or Python development
- Experience with software configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Perforce)
- Proven track record of crafting robust, readable, and efficient code
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with C++, C#, Python, API development, and software architecture
- Experience developing software in both Windows and Linux environments
- Internship or job experience with the commercial software development lifecycle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
