Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Customer Reference Program plays a vital role in bringing Ansys' customer success stories to life. This individual contributor position supports the development of compelling customer testimonials, case studies, and video content that drive Ansys' brand, marketing, communications, and sales efforts. The role also requires close collaboration with our in-house video team and content development team.

As part of the Global Customer Reference Management (GCRM) team within the Corporate Communications department, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and external partners to execute high-quality advocacy initiatives. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously. This remote role requires travel for customer meetings, video shoots, sales conferences, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers to secure approved customer testimonials; Build and maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience throughout the process
• Support the development of customer success stories, including written case studies, blogs, and testimonials
• Partner with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to identify and execute customer advocacy opportunities
• Coordinate video production, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of customer video testimonials
• Manage travel arrangements and logistics for crew and talent, including securing shoot locations and coordinating necessary permits, if needed
• Facilitate customer pre-production calls to align project goals and expectations, ensuring clear communication throughout the production process
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are of the highest quality
• Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting to support team efficiency and visibility.
• Track and analyze key performance metrics related to customer advocacy initiatives, providing insights that inform program strategy and impact.
• Support quarterly reporting efforts, compiling data, success stories, and progress updates for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years of experience in customer advocacy, public relations, marketing, communications, or content production, with exposure to video production preferred.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with data tracking, metrics analysis, and quarterly reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Experience coordinating video shoots, including logistics, scheduling, and pre-production activities.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and working with external vendors and customers.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and video productions around 25-50%
