A successful RSD develops strategies to promote the achievement of corporate objectives by field sales teams. They maintain effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the field sales force. An RSD understands what motivates each team member and coaches them to achieve results.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees an assigned geographic area, product/service line or enterprise industry vertical to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
• Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams. Ensures accurate entry of data into Salesforce.
• Develops long term account strategies for key accounts and specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products/services. Ties strategies into revenue expectations and resource planning.
• Coordinates appropriate company resources to ensure efficient and consistent sales.
• Recruits, directs, coaches, develops, rewards, motivates, and assesses field sales team members.
• Educates field sales and inside sales area in terms of sales techniques and tactics.
• Develops a deep understanding of industry vertical and potential growth areas.
• Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars to address the following:
o Maintains renewal business and generates new business to meet/exceed sales quota.
o Growth in existing MYL customers
o Sales of emerging products/services
o Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns
o Business/financial issues on contracts
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
• Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with 10+ years of experience of demonstrated success in technical sales positions OR 14+ years of experience demonstrated success in technical sales positions.
• 2+ years of sales management experience
• Ability to analyzing data and sales statistics and translate results into action
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Demonstrated track record of leading others to effectively execute and drive sales
• Ability to build and maintain strong, professional relationships at the executive level
• Ability to forecast, estimate revenue and profit trends.
• Creative problem solving, ability to resolve complex sales and customer issues
• Strong business acumen
• Strong negotiation and decision-making, skills
• Strong human relations abilities including ability to develop others and resolve conflict
• Fluent in English and in the local language of the territory
• Travel: up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
• Master's degree or MBA
• Comprehensive knowledge of company's products/services, internal processes, and pricing practices.
• Knowledge of the specific territory, product line, or customer(s)
• Strong understanding of industry cycles and regulations
• Proficiency of sales fundamentals and 8 pillars
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
• Excellent executive presentation and persuasion skill
