Summary and Role Purpose
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the marketing programs at Ansys, with a specific focus on public relations, field marketing, content focus on the customer reference project, press release process or coverage tracking/metrics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Ansys marketing initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing which may include any of the following:
- Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
- Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
- Conduct market research and identify trends
- Work on various marketing projects from inception through to completion, spanning across functional groups

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience in a marketing coordinator role
- Prior internship or coordinator experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience working with marketing-related software (ex. Cision, Vocus and PR Newswire) preferred
- Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation a plus
- At least 3 years experience with demonstrated success is preferred
- Experience working with diverse cross-cultural and cross-discipline teams
- Experience with managing large volume of project requests
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Familiarity with digital and web-based development processes
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
