SUMMARY

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business growth, account expansion, and market differentiation within a designated region by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This role focuses on achieving growth through targeted campaigns, regional sales enablement, and innovative event strategies, leveraging insights into industry trends, market opportunities, and sales priorities. With expertise in field marketing and event production, the Field Marketing Manager plans and executes large-scale virtual and in-person events, creates impactful customer and partner engagements, and collaborates across teams to deliver measurable business results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic field marketing plans, including impactful customer and partner engagements, to achieve sales and marketing objectives, nurture leads, and drive business growth.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns, trade shows, conferences, and sponsorships to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and strengthen relationships with customers, partners, and media.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal clients, managing the end-to-end strategy and technical execution of both virtual and on-site events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and measure campaigns aligned with brand, thought leadership, and product goals.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive production plans, including event-specific communication, schedules, testing, and rehearsal requirements. Direct the technical execution of events, ensuring client requirements are met and managing changes during production.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders during events, addressing their needs, driving attendee engagement, and leading event marketing efforts to maximize impact, lead generation, and ROI. Build trust with sponsors and partners through strong relationship management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, recommending new technologies and processes to enhance event strategies. Optimize event success by tracking performance, managing deliverables, and continuously refining event production and engagement practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience related to B2B marketing, virtual event/event management or similar role.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of field marketing and event production, with experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
  • Experience in virtual event platforms (e.g., Bizzabo, Intrado, On24, Rainforce, Brella, Swapcard) and managing both virtual and in-person events.
  • Solid experience with live production workflows, live streaming systems and software, and managing technical execution during events, including real-time problem resolution.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics and reporting to measure campaign effectiveness, track performance, and refine strategies based on data insights.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate across multiple teams/functions, build organizational support, and work closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies and drive results.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in fast-paced, high-energy environments, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills while maintaining focus on quality and detail.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of personal accountability and the ability to work independently while also effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle client-facing environments and adapt to real-time changes during event setup and execution, while maintaining professionalism and ensuring successful outcomes.
