Summary / Role Purpose
Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead, solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy Ansys software in their design workflows, and grow Ansys' business. As the gold standard in simulation, Ansys is powering innovation that drives human advancement. The Digital Engineering Lab is building on that innovation by engaging with our customers throughout their digital transformation journey to understand the problem at scale and provide feedback and recommendations to the Ansys product management and customer support teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a digital environment for conducting explorations, supporting sales and facilitating internal and external training
- Work with SMEs from different domains (fluids, structural, electromagnetic, optical) to integrate simulation practices in that digital environment
- Contribute to design ideas via systems thinking and development ideas via software building while working at the intersection of cutting edge technologies including AI/ML/NLP/LLMs, System Engineering, MBSE, Formal Methods, etc.
- Explore tools and concepts that drive digital engineering in our customer environments
- Execute use cases and document findings in a SWOT analysis
- Create demonstration content to highlight product strengths and opportunities
- Provide development teams with feedback on prospective products
- Support Ansys field and digital marketing
- Participate in external and internal events to further enhance Simulation solutions, marketing, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with the Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into exciting new product features; test new releases of Ansys products on industrial problems
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
- Required education and degree type: Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in branche like Aerospace/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical or related field with 0-5 years of experience
- Proficiency in Python programming language. Familiarity with customization and writing scripts for automation.
- Experience in simulation in one of the areas of CFD, FEA or Electromagnetic.
- Experience in using at least one of the tools: Ansys Fluent, Mechanical, LSDyna, Maxwell, HFSS or similar products
- Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English
- Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
- Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to learn and understand new technologies, engineering environments, product design complexity, development challenges, etc.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and generate requirements document
- Familiarity with any of the following System Engineering/MBSE/AI/ML/NLP/LLMs/Formal Methods.
- Experience in Python programming, Algorithm development, Cloud technologies.
- Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment.
- Ability to overcome obstacles and drive projects to completion.
