Summary/Role Purpose
By effectively managing the deal registration process and supporting channel partners and the Ansys channel management team, the deal registration analyst position will play a crucial role in maximizing channel sales volume, driving sales efficiency, and fostering strong relationships with channel partners. You will work closely with the channel management team to evaluate channel deal registrations, ensuring they adhere to the requirements for acceptance. This position is also responsible for auditing deal registrations for compliance and ensuring they are correctly and timely processed impacting partner compensation. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for generating regular reports on channel deal registration metrics.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Collect all necessary information from partners to complete the deal registration process accurately and timely.
- Review and validate deal registration submissions to ensure they meet predefined eligibility criteria, including customer segmentation, territory, product line, etc. Conduct thorough checks to verify that the opportunity is not already registered by another partner.
- Register and extend deals based on predefined rules.
- Facilitate the approval process by routing registrations to appropriate channel personnel for review and approval.
- Act as a mediator in cases where multiple partners claim the same opportunity, resolving conflicts through established escalation procedures or negotiations. Ensure fair and equitable resolution of conflicts to maintain partner satisfaction.
- Track the progress of registered opportunities through the sales pipeline stages. Generate regular reports and metrics to provide visibility into the performance of the deal registration program, including the number of registrations, approval rates, and quarterly pipeline and ACV impact.
- Provide training and guidance to partners on the deal registration process, including eligibility requirements and best practices. Offer ongoing support and assistance to partners to help them maximize the benefits of deal registration and drive sales growth.
- Identifying opportunities for deal registration process improvement and optimization to drive scalability and growth within the partner community.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business required 1+ years of channel or sales operations or channel management experience within enterprise software space
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Proficiency with channel program technology stacks - Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system, CRM (salesforce, etc), Power BI, and office productivity software tools
- Fluency in English

- Familiarity with the simulation / PLM industry and channel partner ecosystem
