The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team during an exciting period of organizational transformation. This role requires a seasoned HR professional who can provide expert guidance, influence strategic decisions, and lead initiatives that drive cultural, operational, and workforce transformation.

As a Senior HRBP, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders, managers, and employees to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring that our workforce is engaged, resilient, and equipped to navigate change successfully.

Interesting Problems

Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and strategic HR guidance to support transformation goals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent needs, organizational design changes, and workforce planning strategies.
  • Influence decision-making by presenting HR solutions aligned with long-term business objectives.

Change Management

  • Lead HR components of organizational transformation, including restructuring, culture shifts, and the implementation of new systems or processes.
  • Design and execute change management strategies that foster employee engagement, adaptability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Support leaders in managing resistance and building trust during periods of significant change.

Talent Development and Workforce Planning

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, retain, and develop key talent during and after the transformation.
  • Facilitate succession planning, leadership development, and upskilling initiatives to future-proof the workforce.
  • Work with teams to redefine roles, competencies, and performance expectations as needed.

Employee Relations and Culture

  • Act as a champion for organizational culture, ensuring alignment with core values and transformation objectives.
  • Partner with leaders to foster an inclusive, equitable, and innovative workplace environment.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance and alignment with company values.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Use HR analytics to track transformation progress, identify trends, and propose actionable insights.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics, including employee engagement, retention, and performance, to inform decision-making.

About You

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in benefits, compensation, talent management, and employment laws, knowing when to engage subject matter experts.
  • Skilled in partnering with business leaders to drive strategic initiatives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Recognized for high judgment, bias for action, and delivering results.
  • Adaptable communicator who remains professional in challenging situations and builds strong relationships to boost morale and support teams.
  • Data-driven, discreet, and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and foster growth.

Location

Seattle, WA

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Compensation

Base Salary: $130,000 - $180,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options: The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity's total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
