This position collects requirements and converts into technical documentation for teams to consume. This role is a key contributor in influencing the business and technical analysis process across the entire enterprise.

Position Compensation Range:
$76,000.00 - $125,000.00

Pay Rate Type:
Salary

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities
• Works with the appropriate business groups throughout the application lifecycle to gather requirements, including design creation, code reviews, and test case sign off.
• Collaborates with team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design, and creation of quality technical solutions.

• Clearly and concisely communicates verbal and written requirements and analysis output to development.
• Aligns technical solutions with business and strategic visions while complying with the organization's architectural standards.
• Identifies areas for simplification and bundling of requests to streamline project execution and make recommendations towards the need to develop new or reuse existing functionality.
• Provide estimation of level of effort through partnership with system owners and all affected functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements
• Up to 10%.

Physical Requirements
• Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Additional Preferred Skills
  • Experience developing an expert-level understanding of our products, applications, services and tools. Ability to ask the right questions, document your findings as you learn along the way, and help build out our Product Engineering Expertise Repository in Confluence.
  • Experience writing intermediate to advanced-level SQL queries in MySQL
  • 3+ years of relevant experience leading efforts around business/functional/system requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • Agile experience or training preferred
  • Atlassian tool (Jira, Confluence) experience preferred
