The Surplus Lines Filing & Business Compliance Analyst position is responsible for submitting regulatory filings required to do business within each state. You will collaborate with internal business partners to ensure timely and accurate filing and compliance with state laws and regulations. You will research laws, regulations and requirements to determine their impact on the organization's filing process, procedures and guidelines and subsequently alter business processes to ensure compliance as changes occur. You will report to the Manager, B&A Compliance & Accounting Ops.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034

Primary Accountabilities
- You will provide expertise on compliance for brokerage products.
- You will develop standards, policies and procedures to comply with federal and state legislation.
- You will lead compliance related projects.
- You will coordinate and administer the form, tax and fee filing process.
- You will maintain a state filing law and regulations database.
- You will monitor and track legislative and regulatory activity and makes recommendations to change policies and procedures.
- You will conduct research on new and existing filing laws to determine impact.
- Insurance Accounting experience preferred
- Excel experience including advanced formulas required
- Demonstrated experience in rate and form filings.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance products and related pricing concepts.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of state insurance laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
