Subrogation Senior Manager, Adjusting Services (Flex Office/Home

Atlanta, GA

Provide leadership for staff to ensure outstanding service delivery, regulatory compliance, ongoing process enhancements, and adjudication and settlement of technically challenging property, auto and medical claims.

You will report to the Subrogation Director, Adjusting Services.

Position Compensation Range:
$111,000.00 - $190,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development.
  • Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values, and policies.
  • Lead teams to ensure delivery of services that exceed customer expectations and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain awareness of existing and proposed legislation, court decisions and latest trends in claims litigation to monitor our compliance and recommend process changes.
  • Direct claims managers and staff on all aspects of claims handling including those related to coverage and escalated through the team.
  • Review, evaluates and maintains file-handling process to meet company and statutory guidelines.
  • Participate in corporate claims programs including quality file handling, process improvement, and development of staff.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budget. Help prepare business plans.
  • Implement opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-oriented solutions or service.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office and field claim handling processes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of policy language, coverages and underwriting intent.
  • Demonstrated claims handling experience and licensing.
  • Able to identify developing problems/conflicts and ability to resolve.

Licenses:
  • Obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing as required.
  • Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.

Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 15%.
  • Catastrophe duty as applicable.

This is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office. Work locations for this role include: Madison, WI; Boston, MA; Minneapolis/Eden Prairie, MN; Keene, NH; St. Joseph, MO; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Atlanta, GA
