Senior Policy Forms Specialist - Commercial (Flex Office/Home)

Boston, MA

You will oversee the development of enterprise forms (documents, letters, contracts and endorsements) to comply with state insurance requirements and support the commercial business and client needs across all operating companies. Perform core administrative tasks to support the unit operations.

You will report to a Senior Manager, Product.

Position Compensation Range:
$86,000.00 - $142,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the review and interpretation of statutes and case law and is primary researcher of industry language necessary for introducing policy forms for state expansion, new products, and product enhancements.
  • Prepare forms filings of new language for contracts, forms and endorsements by collaborating with all enterprise partners.
  • Communicate policy contract and underwriting intent for products for important partners. This includes expert testimony and depositions in legal cases.
  • Create system-generated images/forms using specialized forms development systems, business rules, and technical requirements.
  • Review proposed and enacted legislation to determine form changes that may or will be needed to remain compliant.
  • Develop working relationships with other lines to identify product gaps and opportunities.
  • Work with partners, including: state management, claims, Claims/Corporate Legal, Government Affairs, Pricing/Actuarial, and Operations to ensure product compliance.
  • Be a subject matter expert in development of contract language and underwriting guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Your experience with commercial (small business or farm) lines is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-focused solutions or support, written/verbal communication skills, multitasking, and attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated experience developing forms (and related systems) for insurance industry products.

Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10%.

Additional Job Information
This is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office. Work locations for this role include: Madison, WI; Boston, MA; St. Joseph, MO.
