We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Insurance Product Development to lead our team in supporting and managing insurance product performance in the market by managing industry-leading products that inspire, protect and restore our customers' dreams!
This role is critical to our success and involves applying analysis from a variety of internal and external sources to conduct root cause analysis. You will have a background in auto or property insurance and experience driving profitability, growth, and customer experience improvements.

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities
- Implement product development or product management changes. Includes other corporate partners for opportunity identification, enterprise service linkage, vendor management and research.
- Oversee product research and insights gathering and analysis including competitive intelligence, customer empathy, develop pricing models and analysis and new idea methodology.
- Manage the analysis of our results, external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop relevant recommendations to address business issues.
- Work with partners to identify and scope new opportunities for reporting and financial analysis applications to evaluate our performance and to support decisions.
- Responsible for communication and delivery of reporting and financial model results to partners, supporting socialization and adoption of analysis results into business activities and decisions.
- Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development.
- Lead with influence and expertise. Actively contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values and practices.
- Lead with a continuous improvement approach and recommend actions to improve premium volume growth and profitability.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting facts and data, including financial information, in a way that can lead to actionable conclusions.
• Demonstrated experience communicating to a variety of audiences to review findings, arguments, options, risks, benefits, and other issues in a frame of reference that the audience can understand.
• Demonstrated experience in driving to results in one or more of the following areas: sales, product lines, claims, or other core business functions.
• Demonstrated experience managing and leading large complex projects or programs with a cross-divisional impact toward intended results.
• Demonstrated effective experience leading people or projects.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of root cause analysis and processes.
• Demonstrated experience developing insurance product strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in product management and/or development with a focus on profit and loss.
• Solid knowledge and of market research and marketplace and regulatory trends.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of product design and product management.
• Solid knowledge of and experience with advanced financial and data analysis techniques.

Additional Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in the auto insurance industry.
- Prior professional experience in insurance-related quantitative roles, such as pricing, finance, or analytics, isbeneficial.
