Your work will involve marketing, prospecting, and selling our diverse range of insurance products. You will develop customer relationships, understand customer needs, and match them with appropriate product and service offerings.
In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the following office location: Portland, OR 97206
Compensation range will be determined by geographic location.

Primary Accountabilities
- Convert Leads into Qualified Customer Engagements: Manage a prospecting pipeline and develop a sales tracking system to maintain accurate prospect/customer information.
- Achieve Sales and Quality Goals: Meet sales and sales quality goals by selling available insurance products to new customers or servicing existing customers.
- Estimate and Quote Policy Premiums: Provide accurate estimates and quotes for policy premiums while complying with underwriting guidelines.
- Assess Prospective Customers: Gather all necessary information to determine if prospective customers meet underwriting guidelines, and contact appropriate branch staff or division for underwriting guidance when needed.
- Customer Experiences: Handle the most difficult personal lines cases or direct potential customers to other branch staff or resources for information to provide a positive customer experience.
- Develop Community Contacts: Cultivate community contacts to enhance company visibility and maximize new business opportunities.
- Retain Existing Accounts: Provide excellent customer service and holistic risk assessments to help customers prioritize their needs and retain their accounts.
• Attention to detail to provide accurate quotes to clients.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
• Ability to explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients. Licenses
• Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.
• Required by state statutes to have proper insurance licensing to sell insurance products: Property and Casualty, (personal lines authority does not qualify) Life and Health.
Additional Knowledge and Skills Requirements
• Proficiency in Spanish as a bilingual skill is a plus.
• Successfully obtain and maintain property and casualty, life, and health producer licenses for sales and service state(s). Required to pass the state licensing exam for property and casualty, life, and health producer licenses within 60 days of hire date.
Travel Requirements
• Up to 10%.
