You will support the achievement of corporate financial and growth goals by providing management across the company with essential financial information and analysis related to our profitability and key financial measures. You will design, analyze, and maintain financial operational reporting systems to deliver this information.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.

Position Compensation Range:
$78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

  • In partnership with executive leaders, creates annual operating and staffing budgets.
  • Provide monthly budget reporting and variance analysis to executive business partners.
  • Lead in the planning and development of complex and/or strategic analysis used by business partners and divisional leadership.
  • Represent the division in presentation of analyses to divisional leadership on a regular basis and occasionally to executive leadership.
  • Utilize advanced modeling techniques to appropriately analyze the financial and growth implications of various solutions.
  • Use advanced data mining and statistical techniques to find relationships in data to drive decisions.
  • Research and develops more complex and comprehensive management reports as requested for all levels of management.
  • Work with divisional leadership to determine and develop appropriate metrics to assess performance and identify opportunities to improve business results.
  • Actively participate as the financial expert and represents Finance on critical cross-functional teams.

  • Experience creating expense budgets, including staffing, travel, and external vendor costs is required.
  • Experience building executive business partner relationships is required.
  • Advanced-level Excel proficiency is required.
  • Experience developing cost sharing and/or internal allocation models is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance operations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Demonstrated experience in financial statement and management reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex financial and operational analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.

  • Up to 5%.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034.

Relocation may be provided based on the needs of the role.
