The Planning & Forecasting Financial Analyst supports the achievement of corporate financial and growth goals by providing management in all areas of the company with necessary financial information and analysis pertaining to our profitability and key financial measures. You will design, analyze and maintain financial operational reporting systems to provide this information. You will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034

Primary Responsibilities
- You will lead meetings with assigned business partners.
- You will document business partners' current planning process/models for collective team planning using Anaplan.
- You will collaborate with business partners on a quarterly basis for forecasting data and on an annual basis for planning data.
- You will analyze forecast and plan data to make sure it is reasonable and follows expected trends.
- You will learn to build, edit, and maintain planning models in Anaplan.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Planning and forecasting experience preferred
- Insurance experience a plus
- Anaplan experience preferred
- Modeling experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in financial statement and management reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with complex financial and operational analysis.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of insurance accounting and operations.
