In this position, you will work collaboratively with diverse team members across the division to develop and maintain applications that address a wide range of business needs. You will report to a senior manager and be responsible for designing and developing complex and/or large-scale business solutions, while also providing technical guidance for specific applications.
Position Compensation Range:
$125,000.00 - $212,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
- You will provide expertise during the initial phases of the project, including estimating resources, skill requirements, time requirements, identifying tools and technologies, and participating in proof of concepts, etc.
- You will analyze high-level system specifications, business requirements, and/or use cases, and convert information into the appropriate level specifications and system design plans for the development team.
- You will understand and identify system dependencies.
- You will consult with diverse team members to validate complex design decisions and provide advanced coding expertise to mitigate high-risk features or technical challenges.
- You will provide appropriate documentation for design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as required by organizational standards.
- You will define, conduct, mentor others, and/or participate in testing (e.g., unit, system integration). You will prepare, lead, and/or participate in development walkthroughs.
- You will collaborate with others regarding the effectiveness of systems flow, data usage, and manual or automated processes to verify requirements.

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of software development and design standards and methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of infrastructure technologies, operating systems, and the interconnectivity between infrastructure platforms and software tools.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of application architecture and design alternatives.
- Solid Knowledge and understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.

- Up to 10%.
Physical Requirements
- Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- You have demonstrated expertise in developing applications with one or more of the following: Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, React.js, or .NET.
- You have demonstrated experience in developing infrastructure as code with at least one of the following: Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- You have demonstrated experience in developing applications on at least one of the cloud platforms: AWS or GCP.
- You have demonstrated experience, knowledge, and understanding of CI/CD using GitLab.
- You have knowledge and understanding of developing applications using Kubernetes (GKE or EKS).
- You are willing to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge.
