As the Personal Auto Ratemaking Actuary, you will develop and implement pricing strategies for Private Passenger Auto insurance products. You will report to the Senior Manager, Actuary.

Primary responsibilities include:
⦁ Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data to identify changes in the cost of writing personal auto insurance.

⦁ Rate Setting: Developing rate recommendations based on actuarial principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
⦁ Model Implementation: Reviewing predictive models and devising an effective and efficient manner to implement them in pricing.
⦁ Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
⦁ Monitoring: Reviewing the performance of pricing strategies and adjusting insurance pricing as needed.
⦁ Collaboration: Serving as subject matter expert and consultant to business partners throughout the organization. Working closely with product management and regulatory teams to ensure adequate, competitive, and compliant rates are correctly implemented.
⦁ Process Improvement: Continuously reviewing the methods and procedures used by the team to perform actuarial work. Ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034

Relocation Support Offered for Eligible Candidates.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Required:
⦁ Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field of study.
⦁ Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS).
⦁ Extensive knowledge of actuarial ratemaking principles and methods, as well as an understanding of property and casualty insurance products, pricing, rates and industry trends.
⦁ Experience in auto insurance pricing is preferred.
⦁ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in actuarial software and statistical analysis tools.
⦁ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
⦁ Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, and service.
