The Bangalore Team Lead will report directly to the Snr.Regional Facilities Manager EMEA and will be accountable for the operational delivery at our Bangalore office of our janitorial services, visitor management, vendor coordination and office maintenance. The individual will lead from the front line to inspire others to succeed and provide support through knowledge and experience. The highest level of customer service will be delivered at all times - our employees are our customers!

The Team Lead role holder will impart effective supervision of operational vendors such as interior landscaping, janitorial, carpentry, pest control, carpet maintenance, mechanical & electrical etc. As we scale the operation, direct reports will be managed by the Team Lead.
The role will require the job holder to be in the office as required and available to work additional hours in a flexible manner as and when needed should out of hours activity be planned.
General Management:
- Develop, maintain, and adhere to all detailed operational specific Alteryx systems, policies, and procedures.
- Build, own and maintain key relationships with building management, Vendors & employee stakeholders; these interactions matter!
- Be the first point of contact for any maintenance-based request from employees or building managers, tracking all activity from submission to completion, ensuring all involved in each request are kept fully informed.
- Ensure the Together lunch program and daily snacks/beverages are coordinated and always in place and fully stocked.
- Closely manage the office space, tidy desks, keeping all rubbish clear from the office floor, ensuring the office is always clean, tidy and presentable.
- Check our meeting room is always in 5-star working order, make sure all accessories and stationery are in place, chairs are pushed into tables and lights & the AV screen is working.
- Manage the day-to-day activity of all maintenance and janitorial focused vendors through the RMZ reception team.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered too in the office, reporting any risks to the Snr. Regional Facilities Manager EMEA
- Complete and maintain records for accident/incident reports as well as recording accidents for employees via the Incident Reporting Tool.
Service Delivery:
- Manage operational service delivery to ensure outstanding service is provided and measured for all vendors and ops team members.
- Respond to all facility inquiries, assess problems, and take the necessary corrective action.
- Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing activities of contractors executing facilities/operational services.
- Ensures facilities are operated and maintained in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Further administer the development of policies and procedures to align with local or regional requirements.
Event Management:
- Co-ordinate and manage monthly & quarterly activations or events as set out by the Snr. Regional Facilities Manager EMEA
Out of Hours Support & additional tasks:
- Offer flexibility and provide out-of-hours support as and when required.
- Take directions from the Snr. Regional Facilities Manager EMEA on any other tasks that are required on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 2-3 Years+ Office / Facilities background in a commercial offic
- Operates with autonomy, with little oversight and direction required.
- An analytical and organized skillset is a must
- Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, particularly SharePoint & Teams
- High level of integrity and ethics with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
