We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data and Analytics Team Lead to oversee the data operations and analytics function within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Alteryx Designer and Analytics Cloud, Tableau, and data integration techniques. This role will be responsible for leading a team of data analysts, driving data strategy, developing dashboards and workflows, and ensuring data quality and governance across all business units. Additionally, this position will require strong cross-functional collaboration with Global Data & Analytics (D&A) teams to align on data strategies and architecture, enhancing enterprise-wide data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and engineers.
    • Drive the data analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
    • Prioritize and drive business outcomes with measurable ROI, ensuring analytics initiatives create tangible value.
  • Data Strategy:
    • Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization.
    • Partner with the Data Engineering team to learn Alteryx's enterprise data ecosystem and the inventory of curated assets available
  • Alteryx Analytics Cloud (AAC) and Designer Expertise:
    • Solve our most challenging data automation problems using Alteryx Designer and AAC (application license automation, server patch status, C-suite reporting)
    • Design and build complex workflows and ETL processes using Alteryx Designer and AAC.
    • Optimize data preparation and transformation processes.
  • Tableau Dashboard Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
    • Ensure dashboards provide actionable insights and are user-friendly.
    • Build and maintain data models and pipelines to support analytical requirements.
  • Data Integration:
    • Integrate data from various sources (internal and external) to create a unified view.
    • Establish best practices for data integration and transformation.
  • Data Governance:
    • Integrate data from various internal and external sources for consistency and reliability.
    • Establish and enforce best practices for data integration and transformation.
    • Ensure adherence to data quality, accuracy, and governance standards.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to deliver data projects on time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics or related roles.
  • 5+ years of experience with Alteryx Designer and AAC, including workflow optimization and automation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau for dashboard development and visualization.
  • Strong experience with data integration techniques and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, managing a team or mentoring junior staff.
  • Experience with SQL and database management. (CTEs, date transformations, complex joins)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Certification in Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
