Position Overview

The Software Delivery Leader will be a key strategic partner to the VP of Engineering & India Site Lead in Alteryx. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, aligning engineering goals with strategic priorities, and enabling smooth functioning of the P&E organization in India. The CoS will manage cross-functional initiatives, enhance stakeholder engagement, and act as an advisor to leadership while ensuring timely execution of critical objectives. Alteryx India is growing very rapidly, and this position offers a unique growth challenge with impact at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with the VP to set priorities, define objectives, and track progress on key initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor OKRs to ensure alignment with global engineering and corporate strategies.
  • Help scale the India site on all aspects as it grows rapidly

Stakeholder Management, Program & Project Management

  • Act as a liaison between global teams, local teams, and senior leadership. Represent the VP in meetings.
  • Oversee and work with PDPM and ProdOps teams to drive strategic projects and cross-functional programs.
  • Identify bottlenecks and risks, proactively resolving issues to meet deliverables.

Operational Excellence with Data driven insights

  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and ProdOps for resource allocation, hiring, and budgeting.
  • Provide analytics and reporting on engineering metrics, performance, and trends.
  • Prepare executive dashboards and briefing materials for key decision-making.
  • Optimize workflows and processes to improve productivity and efficiency within the P&E organization.

Culture & Team Development

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work culture.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, MBA is a plus
  • Experience:
    • 12+ years of total experience with 4+ years in a similar role, such as Software Delivery Leader, Technical Program Manager, Chief of Staff in a technology/GCC environment.
    • Proven experience working with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams across timezones.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Analytical mindset with expertise in data interpretation and decision support tools.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
