The ideal candidate for this senior role will bring deep expertise in HR, understanding it as a transactional, operational, and strategic function. You have a passion for leveraging your business acumen and analytical skills to elevate the organization's most valuable asset: its people.
Ready to make an impact? Here's what you'll do:
- Drive and execute the People Insights strategy by partnering with executive leadership to shape and advance the People Insights roadmap and objectives, translating them into strategic OKRs for the team.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and various People and Culture sub-teams, providing strategic, data-driven insights that address complex business challenges and advance organizational priorities.
- Act as the go-to subject matter expert for People Analytics, synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative data to deliver actionable insights to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead data integration efforts, particularly through Workday, to ensure accurate, comprehensive data capture across HR functions, maintaining an ecosystem of reliable analytics.
- Utilize advanced tools (Alteryx, Excel, Python, SQL) to analyze and interpret complex data trends, identifying actionable patterns and insights from vast, noisy data sets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with partners across IT, Finance, DEI, and Payroll to implement data-driven solutions, incorporating best practices for data collection and analysis.
- Identify, resolve, and improve data integrity issues to ensure the reliability of all reporting and analyses.
- Design and deliver custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations using advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to communicate findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Regularly evaluate and enhance reporting processes, exploring automation and scalability opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness that supports employee data self-service.
- Innovate and proactively explore data to uncover new insights and opportunities for process improvement.

- Lead initiatives to enhance the People and Culture Team's technical expertise through the development of training materials, workshops, and documentation on analytical methodologies.
- Shape the People Analytics function by prioritizing and aligning business information needs with organizational goals, collaborating closely with management to determine data and analytics priorities.
- Take the lead in presenting complex analytical insights and recommendations to senior management across functions, ensuring data-driven strategies align with broader business objectives.
- Achieve or exceed the Alteryx Core Certification and lead the team in adopting best practices in data manipulation and analysis.
Basic requirements:
- Passion for People Analytics: a data-driven leader eager to answer critical workforce questions to drive organizational success.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in professional data analytics or HR analytics roles.
- 3+ years of experience in synthesizing data from multiple, diverse sources, and in developing data visualizations and presentations tailored for strategic decision-making.
- Advanced experience with data management, including ETL processes within enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) using tools such as SQL or Python.
- Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), Snowflake, and Workday reporting.
- Working experience with Alteryx Designer

- Proven experience functioning as a central player in HR/people data activities, partnering effectively with IT, DEI, Payroll, and Finance teams.
- Advanced knowledge and application of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.
Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The salary range for this role in the United States is $125K- $160K.
In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
