Responsibilities:
- Own and oversee the development and delivery of a cloud-based machine learning product.
- Manage a team of engineers, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
- Act as a key liaison between the India-based team and the US-based organization, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to achieve project objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a software development environment.
- Prior experience as a software engineer with a solid understanding of software development processes.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Some proficiency in Python and/or React with Typescript.
- Experience developing in Scala is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team setting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
