As a Sr. Manager of Connectivity at Alteryx, you will play a critical role in overseeing the strategy, development, and execution of our cloud connectivity solutions. You will lead a team of product managers and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, cloud architecture, and customer support to ensure seamless, high-performance integrations between Alteryx products and a wide range of data storage solutions and applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and drive the strategy for the data connectivity for the Alteryx Analytics Cloud, ensuring alignment with Alteryx's overall business goals and customer needs.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of product managers focused on building and maintaining data integrations, ensuring best practices and data driven decisions are applied in product management tasks.
- Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer, conducting regular user research, market analysis, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and ensure we are solving the most critical problems for our users.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution. Champion product initiatives and ensure all teams are aligned on goals and deliverables.
- Execution & Delivery: Lead the team through end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products and features. Work with the team to monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data management, analytics, and data engineering. Use this knowledge to inform product strategy and ensure Alteryx remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to other product managers and team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product management team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management with a focus in the data management/integration/analytics space, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in APIs, database integration best practices, and knowledge of Cloud Data Warehouses (like Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and scale product teams while fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API and database integration frameworks.
- Familiarity with Alteryx platform and its integration with third-party data sources.
- Knowledge of data security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Cloud Data Warehouses and their underlying infrastructure.
