Job Description
Under general supervision, the Analyst III is responsible for providing a superior level of customer service and attention to customers who have a vehicle that needs repaired. The individual inspects vehicle damage (which may include automobiles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and recreational vehicles), writes damage repair estimates, negotiates moderately complex settlements with repair facilities, and estimates repair times for rental/loss of use.

You will create damage repair estimates virtually through photos and/or video and negotiate supplements with repair facilities.Accountabilities:Reviewing damage photos & claim file loss details to validate damages are loss relatedCreate a loss damage estimate that accurately represents known damagesExplain the repair estimate to the client and negotiate a settlementExplain the rental processEnsure the delivery of individual results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity timeliness, productivity and customer satisfactionProvide on the job training and feedback for team members as requested by managerRecommend and implement changes and or enhancements to claim policies, Best Practices, procedures and continuous improvementSupport effective partnerships with agents and brokersEnsure compliance with overall ACG, and regulatory, legal and ethical policies and requirements, including but not limited to Sarbanes Oxley, Privacy, Security and governance, to ensure adequate mitigation of risksAttend industry seminars relative to automotive repairProvide ongoing technical advice and guidance to Claim Assistants and Claim AdvisorsMake claim decisions that fall within the scope of the Claims Best Practice and within personal authority levelQualifications:Minimum University degree/College diploma or equivalent work experienceTechnical Diploma or equivalent training in auto body repairExperience in estimating vehicles using ADP or Mitchell systemsMinimum 1-3 years auto damage estimating experienceMust be I-CAR Platinum or currently working on attaining this designationEnrolled in, or completion of, CIP designationStrong customer service skillsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent negotiating skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Assistplus, the auto policy and auto repair proceduresProficient keyboard skills and computer literacyAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
