Manages multiple highly complex work assignments with limited guidance provided
Proactively uses claim technical expertise to train others
Manages staff and effectively uses performance management to improve and/or reward employee performance
Effectively coaches and provides development/career guidance for direct reports
Assists leadership in developing strategies of operational improvement
Participates in the implementation of process improvement, operational performance andeff ectiveness programs and changes
Ensures adherence to empathetic and responsive customer service in all transactions
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages/leads Team of employees
Creates a positive and satisfying work environment using recognition, empowerment, listening, valuing diversity, and acting as a role model for others.
Recommend training and education programs to enhance associate's knowledge and development.
Implements the Performance Management and Progressive Discipline Processes.
Primary Skills
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
Doctor from any streams (BHMS, BAMS, BDS, BPT, MPT, MBBS) with claims/clinical experience.
Minimum 6-7 years of work experience in life/health/disability insurance/casualty claims or underwriting
Relevant experience in life/health/disability claims handling/settlement/adjudication/medical summarization
and investigation process is preferred
