Job Description
At Allstate, the Talent Manager, Production Business Affairs will have an advanced understanding of the SAG-AFTRA contract as well as the non-union talent landscape. The Talent Manager, Production Business Affairs will be able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including producers, marketing teams and the internal production studio in a collaborative role. This role will support the Lead, Production Business Affairs to ensure that protocols and guidelines are followed to protect the enterprises interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business affairs lead and production in all talent matters
  • Provide guidance on union, non-union and SAG-AFTRA related matters
  • Spearhead all below-the-line talent negotiations, provide casting language, and manage talent trackers
  • Work with the producers and marketing teams to provide talent options that maximize the talent and production budgets
  • Issue standard talent contracts and report sessions to talent paymaster
  • Review each completed commercial and determine whether upgrades, downgrades, outgrades and/or integration are required before submitting a final cast list to talent paymaster
  • Communicate and advise on holding fees, commercial expirations, commercial MPU's etc.
  • Prepare and manage talent residual budgets in conjunction with marketing and media teams
  • Handle union audits and disputes, including collecting and providing relevant information and documentation, and negotiating resolutions thereof
  • Assist with the traffic and network clearance process as well as Ad-ID creation

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising talent procurement and payment matters
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • None

Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SAG/AFTRA and other union/guild restrictions as they pertain to advertising
  • Ability to negotiate union and non-union talent
  • Strong knowledge and experience with producing a wide variety of assets for use in digital, motion, social and print
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to develop detailed reports
  • Able to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment with diverse assignments
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Disciplined approach to managing projects, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt when adjustments are required

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $78,600.00 - 142,275.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
