Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
- Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to audit estimates of damages on 1st party homeowners' losses with complexity
- Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines
- Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines
- Handling only claims in excess of $250,000.

Experience:
- 2 or more years of property large loss experience. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of and experience with SYMBILITY and Guidewire.
- CIP or FCIP.
- Excellent communication skills.
Education & Experience (in lieu):
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
