Job Description
The SAP PaPM Senior Consultant / Lead Consultant typically provides expertise across all major functions in their area(s) of the business and delivers product features utilizing vended software, particularly ERP applications, by applying knowledge of the application functionality and client business processes. The role creates technical and process designs and configures vendor software for new or existing complex enterprise-wide and business-unit applications and maintenance efforts. The Lead Consultant is also aware of vendor feature roadmaps and understands how to navigate support processes and developer groups to gain insight and influence future direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement SAP PaPM solutions according to the business requirements.
  • Customize and configure PaPM models, functions, and reports to meet business process needs.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain performance optimization strategies for PaPM applications.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of PaPM solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PaPM applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PaPM solutions with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Keep abreast of the latest SAP PaPM updates and technologies to enhance system functionality and performance.
  • Document technical designs, specifications, and processes for future reference and compliance.
  • Train end-users and provide guidance on the effective use of PaPM solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP PaPM development and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of SAP PaPM components, including models, functions, and reports.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming and debugging.
  • Proficiency in HANA stored procedures programming and debugging.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, including HANA SQL and HANA Modeling.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of finance and performance management processes is preferred.
  • SAP certification in PaPM or related areas is highly desirable.
