Job Description
The Business Intelligence Developer Lead Consultant provides the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex Business Intelligence solutions and reports using the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and/or other tools. This role is responsible for the aggregation of data from multiple sources into an efficient data warehouse and designing reporting solutions for very large multidimensional databases.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluates and improves existing BI systems and processes
• Collaborates with teams to integrate systems
• Develops and executes database queries
• Develops standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements
• Translates complex business needs to technical specifications
• Designs, builds, and deploys complex BI solutions
• Maintains and supports data analytics platforms
• Conducts developer testing and troubleshooting
• Partners and collaborates with technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex business problems
• Develops and updates technical documentation
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
Functional Skills
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (T-SQL)
• Advanced knowledge of the following skill sets: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Knowledge of relational database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Knowledge of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Development knowledge of all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
