Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for developing and executing learning strategies for the Property/Catastrophe (CAT) New Hire Training at the Dallas, Texas location of Allstate and National General Insurance. The position focuses on designing and delivering training that aligns with business and enterprise strategies. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience with insurance field claims handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measures learning effectiveness and shares recommendations to help improve learner understanding.
  • Maintains, evaluates and adapts complex learning offerings to ensure alignment with business or enterprise need.
  • Develops, designs and delivers learning offerings that are aligned to business and enterprise strategy as part of an agile team; Ensures talent management practices are understood and supported consistently within learning offerings; Drive and influence adoption of skills-based culture to empower and develop meaningful business-relevant skills.
  • Provides on-going consultation with clients to ensure learning offerings are in line with business and enterprise strategies.
  • Leads large scale projects in partnership with business partners, client services, other cross-functional teams and/or learning teams.

Education

  • 4-year bachelor's degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 5 or more years of experience

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Functional Skills:

  • Training Program Creation and Design: Expertise in developing training programs specifically tailored for new Property and CAT (Catastrophe) claims employees.
  • Instructor-Led and Self-Paced Training: Experienced in delivering both instructor-led and self-paced training sessions ensuring knowledge retention and engagement.
  • Assessments and Feedback: Strong skills in utilizing assessments and feedback mechanisms to track and identify learning gaps.
  • Compliance and Industry Standards: Knowledgeable in incorporating legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements into the training content, ensuring that new hires understand the critical regulatory frameworks surrounding Property and CAT claims management.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Ability to work closely with Property and CAT leadership to ensure training objectives align with team and business goals. Experience in tailoring content to the specific needs of claims managers and other stakeholders.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $74,240.00 - 134,060.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
