Job Description
The Compensation Consultant II is responsible for delivering core compensation initiatives to internal clients by applying professional judgement, knowledge, and experience. The Compensation Consultant II will focus on bridging the gap between process items and analysis work. This position will also act in a supporting role with consulting departments and may lead the consultation of smaller departments. The individual will work with team members to participate in the implementation, management, and development of innovative solutions that support business unit strategy and design by applying thought leadership and their subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Conducts analysis and interprets results
Reviews and develops quantitative and qualitative trend data to assist in drawing conclusions to drive business results
Provides input related to broad-based, sales, specialty, and/or international compensation design and options
Analyzes compensation trends to assess and review compensation practices
Contributes to the development and implementation of key technology initiatives and enhancements
Completes compensation functions such as job evaluation, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
Develops relationships with client groups to institutionalize compensation philosophies and provide ongoing consultation
Communicates and participate in design of compensation practices/policies that are cost effective, competitive, and assists in attracting/retaining/motivating quality employees
Education
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
