Job Description
The Loss Drafts Associate is responsible for performing loss draft and property damage requirements including processing documents, ordering and reviewing inspections, working loss draft queues and evaluating exceptions. This role supports borrowers and contractors by providing detailed information on how to progress a claim file, de-escalate calls and process complaints, and handle disbursement of claim funds.

National General Lender Services (NGLS) is a financial arm of National General that partners with home mortgage lenders. We administer various business processes on their behalf, such as customer service, loss drafts and insurance servicing/operations.

Key Responsibilities

Responds to written and verbal customer requests, inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Validates documents pertaining to claim

Orders and reviews inspection results

Requests claim funds when applicable

Follows standard procedural guidelines for performing tasks

Assists with cross training inbound representatives on borrower follow up queue

Updates records and note system

Backs up as needed to meet client requirements and SLA's

Verifies claim check deposits

Processes draws/draw approvals and payee header requests for claims

Must be located 60 minutes within the Mesa, AZ office: 827 W Grove Ave Mesa, AZ 85210

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience

Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications

Must possess effective verbal and written communication skill

Insurance or Financial/Banking experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $17.43 - 22.18 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
