Your role in the team
We are seeking a lead DPM to support the Use My Protection customer journey in our Auto Claims Data & Integration team which help our customers to have accurate data and insights when interacting with application in the Use My Protection Journey. The Lead DPM will be responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of two or more products in Allstate's growing product portfolio. They will also manage strategic product vision, product discovery and roadmaps to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. The Lead DPM will also collaborate with a Product Marketing Manager to plan and execute an integrated marketing plan to support market awareness and adoption for their product, as applicable.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor operational effectiveness; develop strategies for adjusted courses of action.
- Weigh alternatives and considers service and business implications of decisions.
- Lead development and recommendation of new techniques and processes to support innovative solutions.
- Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional development organization.
- Define and manage KPIs to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.
- Create, drive and execute holistic product strategy (i.e. not limited to software development) for 2 or more products in our growing digital product portfolio.
- Partner with stakeholders inside and outside of the enterprise, and present to field teams at events as the 'product expert' for your defined product area.
- Make build, buy and/or partner decisions to advance product strategy and maximize KPIs.
- Invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs & habits and to elicit their feedback to potential product concepts and/or released product iterations.
- Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate concepts as appropriate for backlog investments.
Essential Skills

- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a digital product manager/owner or technical leadership role working in an Agile software development environment (Scrum, Kanban or XP)
- Experience in communicating complex and innovative concepts to product development teams with proven experience in data-driven decision making.
- Experience working in a technology development environment.
- Experience at breaking down work for iterative and incremental delivery.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience Coaching or Mentoring individuals or teams in a professional environment
