Job Description
The Director, Direct Sales is responsible for profitable growth and increasing market share within Home and Auto direct sales. The role is accountable for all aspects of strategy development for Allstate Canada. The role leads a consolidated team of sales leaders and network of agents with the goal of achieving sales and profitability targets while fostering a culture of embracing change, talent development and shared purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements the annual strategic business plan for home and auto direct sales to achieve sales production and profitability goals
- Serves as a senior member of the Allstate Canada sales leadership team, collaborating with other sales directors toward the achievement of the national sales plan and refinement of division-specific sales strategies
- Facilitates review and consolidation of sales strategies, operating models and workforce for current and future activity
- Creates and implements change management initiatives for the integration of sales strategies
- Collaborates with leadership in Product, Marketing, Finance and other AORs to identify opportunities to maximize resources and employee skills to achieve sales plan
- Proactively analyzes data and analytics to evaluate business strategies against current results, adapts to changing market pressures and redeploys resources accordingly.
- Serves as a role model within the sales organization, encouraging root cause problem solving, best practice sharing and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years experience leading top performing sales teams within the home and auto insurance product
- Experience standing up and developing new sales teams
- Expertise in Canadian Insurance Regulations
- Demonstrated ability to identify & implement new ideas, techniques, and tactics to drive improvement in sales outcomes.
- Bilingual speaking English & French
Education
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
12 or more years of experience (Preferred)
