Allstate Canada Group is seeking a Core Operations Senior Manager to lead operational excellence and continuous improvement for Canada. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple business units to formulate and communicate organization goals, streamline workflows, and implement action plans that deliver impactful results.

As a leader in this role, you will shape cultural objectives, enhance workforce engagement, and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll also oversee process reengineering and automation initiatives, ensuring strategic business objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and provide direction to division and department leaders, overseeing onshore and offshore activities to monitor performance and implement action plans.
  • Build strong relationships across local and global networks, including direct reporting lines with global workforce and virtual teams.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to achieve financial, resource, and customer service goals.
  • Champion innovative solutions and systems improvements, with a focus on process automation and reengineering.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance operational strategies, manage procurement relationships, and optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Support compliance and audit objectives while prioritizing operational plans across multiple departments and business areas.
  • Lead change management initiatives, fostering agility and forward-thinking business practices.
  • Design and implement programs and policies that align with enterprise-wide cultural objectives and engage employees meaningfully.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • A minimum 10 years' experience in continuous improvement or business transformation.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a leadership role with proven success managing teams and complex operations.
  • Certification or working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and/or Agile methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in process and continuous improvement, automation, and change management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and diverse teams.
  • Prove ability to manage onshore and offshore vendor relationships and deliver measurable results.
